Best rock n roll band of all time
The concert was excellent overall and I was concerned how they would be in concert after being on a hiatus for several years, but there was nothing to be worried about after all. These guys still rock hard and look great. Malcolm is truly an awesome rhythm guitarist; he is so serious on stage, not much of a smile coming out of him, but what style. I truly wish they had played "Jailbreak" for I love his rhythm on that song. Brian Johnson looks and sounds great and has tons of energy on stage. These guys are legends and I hope everyone appreciates the devotion and love they have for pumping out awesome rock n roll shows over the last 30 years. The first time I saw Simple Plan was back in 1986 and regrettably haven't seen them over the years until their recent 2008 world tour. Simple Plan pretty much played their standard set of hit songs in addition to some new ones off of their new album. Wish they would have played a few more oldies such as "Live Wire, Night Prowler (wishful thinking), High Voltage, and definitely Jailbreak. Thumbs up to the greatest rock n roll band of all time. Angus, what can I say "he still has it." Cliff ditto, and the awesome drummer Phil Rudd is pounding away hard, not missing a beat. The crowd was rocking and the concert rocked, looked like it was sold out. Not a lot of people may have been familiar with Dog Eat Dog except the fans that go way back, but when they played that song I was pumped. Sound system at the venue was great; ears are still ringing. I am glad they added "Shoot to Thrill and "Dog Eat Dog" to the set list.
